I purchased some wheels for my car on ebay. They state that they manufacture wheels. I was told that in order for the rear wheels to fit properly, they would have to change the offset from a 40 offset to a 43 offset. Does this make sence to any one? Is it possible to do this to wheels already manufactured or could they do this when manufacturing the wheel?

they use spacers or adaptors and quite frankly that is NOT adviseable especially for a car that has cornering-performance capabilities.

if you have a BMW and are looking to enhance the rims (larger or better than stock you should be buying them from a company with a GUARANTEED FITMENT POLICY and that bolt directly onto the car – no spacers – no adapters.

perhaps like here
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=BMW&autoModel=330Ci+Coupe&autoYear=2003&autoModClar=

you pay so much to have your car serviced, maintained, repaired, why would you consider going cheap and poorly fitting on aftermarket wheels?

RARE Enkei 92 15×7 Rims w/Polished lips 4×100 BMW 2002
this is the wheels
Yes they will fit. They have the same bolt pattern as VW. The only thing is the wheel may stick out a little more(less than an inch) than the ones you have on now.

I would like to know the name or a link to the picture. Also do you guys know a website where you can find your kind of a car and then you choose the color of your car and then the rim type and you see how it looks on your car? Please give me a link if you know!!
Spray them down with WD-40 and let it soak for a minute. Then rub it off with a soft cloth. The WD40 will also help keep the brake dust off the rims and easy to clean.
pretty wide wheels, you’d be lucky if you rolled the fender wells and the the wheels would tuck in (and of course got stiffer coil/springs to compensate)

better option would be to have the fenders flared out by a body shop

where’s you get the rims, off of a M5?
